So do dogs dream?? Dogs do dream just like humans and even about similar things sometimes! Humans are obviously very different than dogs but our brains work similar therefor dogs do definitely dream!

We also know that dogs like humans enter a 'DEEP SLEEP MODE' and then has rapid eye movements and breathing that changes while asleep. This 'DEEP SLEEP MODE' stage is usually when humans dream and this counts for Dogs also.

So 'Do dogs dream?' the answer is surely yes and for some odd reason it has been proved that smaller dogs dream more than larger ones! Weird!!!

Do dogs dream and is it normal?

It can be scary and weird when you see your doggie dreaming and twitching and making strange noises but it is absolutely 100% normal for dogs to dream and we do not need to be alarmed when this happens!

It is very normal for you to have a dream and so is it for your dog!

A lot of researchers say that dogs dream about rabbits which probably has a certain level of truth in it but we believe that just like what we dream about as humans like activities we do while awake, dogs probably also dreams about being awake and doing things they love!

It is also fairly easy to see when your dog is dreaming. Simply watch your dog when he dozes off you will see his breathing becomes more regular and usually or probably after about 20 minutes your dog should have his first dream! Amazing!
