What is a Bird?

So what is a bird? In short we understand that firstly birds are beautiful and part of our Eco-system. They are animals that fly and have feathers to assist with this. It is untrue that all birds can fly as some cant and also the way they fly can differ greatly at times.

Scientific term for the group that birds are part of is called AVES which is also part of a way bigger group called AMNIOTES (ALl Mammals, Reptiles & Birds). Warm blooded Vertebrates are called AVES.

So what is a bird? A bird can be sum up as a warm blooded Vertebrate covered in feathers (has scaly legs), has no teeth, beak and when bearing young its in a egg shell.

What is a bird to us?

Ask yourself what is a bird to us? Birds make a garden or wild look alive and peaceful. Birds can at times have wonderful colors which can be extremely beautiful to watch for hours at a time. Children loves birds and they can admire them for long periods of time.

When you ask 'What is a bird?' we would also say that birds remind us why we are alive today as the beauty that God put into creating such wonderful creatures stretches over horizons!

Birds can also be a form of calmness and happiness when we want to as we as humans may watch them and the peace they are in and learn from it.

What is a bird in the system today?

Birds keep things clean at times and also play a big part in our Eco-system today! 

Birds disperse seeds all the time, birds pollinate plants, birds scavenge carcasses, birds recycle nutrients back into our Earth. So when you ask yourself 'What is a bird in our system today?' we may say that birds keep a lot of things in balance!

Birds are part of our beautiful Nature and we should protect them as much as we can today!
